Uncapped wireless internet is a home or business connection with no data limit, delivered by a small antenna on your roof that links to a nearby Hornet WIFI tower. There are no cables to dig in, and all Hornet WIFI home packages include unlimited data that is unshaped and unthrottled.
Which areas does Hornet WIFI cover?
Hornet WIFI covers parts of Tshwane and Ekurhuleni in Gauteng, including Mamelodi, Nellmapius, Soshanguve, Winterveld, Atteridgeville and Tembisa. Enter your address in the coverage check on our website to confirm your exact location.
How much does Hornet WIFI cost?
Home wireless packages cost R349 a month for 5Mbps, R549 for 10Mbps, R699 for 15Mbps and R999 for 20Mbps. Business wireless packages range from R1,599 to R4,899 a month.
How fast is installation?
Standard installations are completed within 7 working days of your order being confirmed. Our operations team contacts you to book a time that suits you.
Is there a contract?
Home packages are available on a 24-month contract with a R500 installation fee, or month-to-month with a R1,499 installation fee. Business wireless packages run on a 36-month contract with no installation cost.
Is the data really unlimited?
Yes. All home wireless packages are uncapped, unshaped and unthrottled, so your speed is not reduced after heavy use.
Do you offer business internet?
Yes. Business Wireless packages from 10 Mbps to 100 Mbps include all equipment, no installation cost, 1:3 contention and priority support.
What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay by card through Yoco, by EFT, or with an OTT voucher.
Can I upgrade my package later?
Yes. You can upgrade at any time by contacting our support team. Downgrades take effect from your next billing cycle.
